What you need to know...
During a coaching session, we work through images in your portfolio or plan photos you've always wanted to make. I can help you master that technique you've always wanted to learn or work through the basics with you in a way you'll understand.
The structure is up to you. We can do a portfolio review or I can answer questions technical questions. Let me know what you have in mind in the comments section of the scheduling form
During a portfolio review, we will talk about up to 20 images that you send to me. We will discuss what is working and what is not quite working in the photographs and suggestions for improvement. Common themes include: composition, exposure triangle, and post-processing.
Initial Coaching Session: $75
Additional Sessions: $50
This review can be scheduled in person or conducted via Skype. Sessions usually last about an hour.

Please include any information in the Comments section that I might need to know about when scheduling or about the look you are going for or if you're looking for specific feedback or working on a specific technique.

I'm an American photographer born in Colorado and based in the St. Louis metro area. I specialize in individual portraiture, including senior and graduation photos, and headshots.
A musician by profession, I try to bring a sense of lyricism and improvisation to my photography. I love to work with available light and bring out the inner light in the person I'm photographing. I might be a classical musician by trade, but I'm very much a jazz photographer!
I love to travel and have travelled extensively in the United States & Europe, but even when at home, I try to keep the same sense of adventure – looking for novelty in the everyday; finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. A musician by profession, I have recently become passionate about my photography. I have photographed nearly my entire life, but only to document travels, not to make art. Now, I've found that I can do both.
